Hunter Farm in Union, WA
This one isn't in Kitsap County, so it is a little more of a drive. However I do think this is one worth mentioning as it is one of my kids' favorites.
There are so many fun things to do when you go visit this farm. One of the highlights is the hay maze set up in their barn. It is so much fun for the kids to run through! The super cool thing about it being in the barn is that if it is wet outside, they can still enjoy it. A barn also means they have animals for the kids to see and pet.
Another thing that they raise on their farm is vegetables. Yes, I know pumpkins are vegetables, but they also raise other vegetables. They have a nursery which is open from March through September. Their vegetables are available for purchase.
Finally, the biggest attraction for my kids was the tractor ride in the covered wagon. You will be driven out to the patch where the kids get to pick out their pumpkin. They have many different types of pumpkins so you can always find the perfect one!
I did mention it was a bit of a drive, but it is a beautiful drive on a sunny day. One tip I would share is if it is rainy or has been rainy, wear boots. It can be very muddy out in the patch. For my kids it added to the fun!
