Daddy Daughter Dance

As always, one of my commitments is to share some of the activities that happen in our county with my readers. Unfortunately this one, I can't give you first hand experience, because I am not a "daddy", but I can tell you what I know.

First of all, I had BOYS, 5 of them to be exact so this was never really something I paid attention too. However, when my daughter arrived, dads (and moms) all told me, my daughter needed to go. Dads were actually more insistent that my husband took my daughter than the moms. They were so right!

My daughter and I went shopping for dress and shoes. We did her hair and always added something special, whether it was sparkles or a special piece of jewelry for her to wear out for her special night with her daddy.

There are actually a few Daddy Daughter Dances in the area. One is in Bremerton. This one will be held at The Bremerton Elks at 4131 Pine Road from 7-10 pm on February 3rd. The $22 per couple tickets can be pre-purchased at Bremerton Parks and Rec 360-473-5305 for more information or at Silverdale Antiques 360-692-2462.

The other that my daughter usually attends is at the Kitsap Sun Pavilion at the Kitsap Count Fairgrounds. You do need to pre-register by 1/22/18. Not only is there music, but there are usually refreshments, flowers, and a photographer involved. All making it a very night for any Princess.

Of course, I can't let my daughter have ALL the fun! Since she has started doing this with her Daddy, the boys and I have an official date night at the same time. Usually it involves some type of activity, ie. movie, bowling, etc, followed by dinner or at least ice cream or maybe it is just eating. Boys do like to eat!
