Ashley's Pub - A Hip Place for Beer and Games

This past weekend I was turned on to a new place in town, by a local brew master who insisted I check out Ashley's Pub lineup of beers. Ashley's Pub is located at 409 Pacific Street in downtown Bremerton.

We walked down some steps into the courtyard of Ashley's Pub. It looks like it would be a great spot to hang out during the day. The location was still very much a part of the city scene yet was a bit private because of its lower entrance.

The bar was brightly lit. The decor was whimsical, playful and colorful. There were groups of people inside enjoying games and beer. No need to bring your own games, they have a whole wall of games to choose from! I can't imagine you not finding your game.

However, if board games aren't your thing. . . they have video games and pin ball machines too!

My brew master friend was correct. Ashley's Pub did have a great selection of beers on tap. There were lots of local breweries represented. There were a few new ones that I wasn't as familiar. (Those adorable bright handles in the middle of this picture are the taps.) If you couldn't find what you were looking for on tap, there was also a nice selection of bottles and cans. Also for my cider loving friends, Ashley had many choices for you too. My new find of the night for beers was the tart cherry. It reminded me of a dessert my mom makes.

The comic decorated bar was super fun! I loved all the strong super-women portrayed. They kind of reminded me of this amazing person behind the bar.

Oh, and talking about Ashley. . . yes I was fortunate enough to meet her. She is a beautiful woman with a great welcoming smile. She instantly makes you feel right at home. She had a dream and went for it and I am sure she will be very successful! Another cool thing I learned, was Jonathon, Ashley's boyfriend did the art work behind us.
