A Rainy Night on the Sound

It's a cold dark rainy Friday night in Bremerton. Maybe you want to go out and meet some friends. You want somewhere small and cozy, with a great view, and that's casual. That is exactly what I was craving! I decided to go try out the Manette Yatch Club Bar. It is located right outside of the parking garage near Anthony's. A quick walk from the garage to the dock and we are there!

Once inside we were greeted by our bartender/cook for the evening, Corey! He was a great guy and very welcoming. The decor is simple but chic. It kind of reminds me a of a wine tasting room. Seating is very limited. There are actually on 6 stools in this tiny place. I was told in the summer they do expand a little and have some outdoor seating.

They have a small but nice selection of beers and wine. You have the option of buying a bottle of wine or you can get it by the glass. They have a few of our local craft breweries on tap and of course you can get bottles of some of our other local beers. It wasn't a bad selection!

Corey then asked us if we were hungry. One of the best things about trying out new places is checking out the food. The menu as you can see was pretty simple. His recommendation was the Mac & Cheese. We also tried the hamburger, clam chowder and tacos. All were pretty good. Not huge proportions, but a nice little snack.

As we were sipping our wine and beer and enjoying the food, we enjoyed the incredible view!

After some great conversation, drinks, views and food in the warmth of this cozy and manly (Corey's word because I called it cute) establishment, we ventured out into the drizzly dark night. The twinkling of the lights that decorated the place made even the night seem not as stormy.
