Trick-or-Treating
One of my favorite holidays of the year is Halloween. What fun to dress up! At our house, we are kind of old fashioned. We live in a wonderful neighborhood with a lot of kids. Our typical Halloween consists of getting together with family and friends and strolling through our neighborhood trick-or-treating. We have terrific neighbors who join in the fun by giving the kids treats.
However, not all neighborhoods in Kitsap County have neighbors who are close, in fact many of them are spread out or are on busy roads. That could pose a problem for going out to walk your neighborhood. Even more, if you are new to your neighborhood or have not met your neighbors, going door-to-door trick-or-treating may not be your thing.
If the later is the case, but you still want to dress up your little ones for some Halloween fun, you have come to the RIGHT place. I have done the leg work for you and researched local community sponsored places to go trick-or-treating.
On October 31, you can take your kids to this FREE trick-or-treating event in Downtown Poulsbo "Ghoulsbo". The hours are from 4-6 pm.
Downtown Bremerton will run their Trick-or-Treating event from 5-8 pm. Again this is FREE!
Hansville Communtity Center is offering Trick-or-treating for free from 6-8 pm.
Poulsbo Parks and Recreation Center is having a Preschool Halloween Party from 3:30-5. Kids 5 and under are FREE 6+ is $1.00. They are asking for donations for canned food which will go to North Kitsap Fishline. So you get to have a good time and help a good cause! Win=Win!

Also the Bremerton YMCA is having their Fall Festival October 29 from 11am -1pm. Free for all members, non-members only need to provide a valid form of ID to get in FREE. Haselwood Family YMCA is having their Halloween Festival October 28 from 5:30-8. They have lots of fun going on there too. Free for all members and the community.
